About Fixcademy
Fixcademy is an independent library of step-by-step troubleshooting guides for everyday technology: WiFi and networking, Windows, iPhone and iOS, Android, printers, smart TVs and streaming, Chromebooks, and audio accessories.
Our approach is simple: start with the symptom, in the words you would type into a search box. Then give the cheapest, safest checks first, and only then move to bigger steps such as resets. Every guide tells you what you will lose before any step that deletes data, and every guide ends with what to do if the problem is still not fixed.
Independence statement
Fixcademy is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as official support for Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, Google, HP, or any other manufacturer. Brand names appear only to identify the device or software a guide is about. If a problem needs the manufacturer, your carrier, or a repair shop, our guides say so plainly — we never pretend everything is software-fixable.
How our guides are made
Guides are written from the symptom outward, using the manufacturer’s own documentation as a reference, and steps are verified against the device or software version stated in the guide. Screenshots on this site are our own. When an interface changes, guides are updated and the update date is shown. We do not copy other sites’ articles, and we do not present ourselves as certified engineers or employees of any manufacturer.
